Monica Nicholson owns and runs North Texas Lifeguards, in honor of her husband, Michael Nicholson, who passed away in 2021.
Her passion is to continue Michael's profound legacy of training new lifeguards and instructors to achieve a primary goal:
save more lives.

Tanner currently works in the Emergency Department. He has 5 years of guarding and instructor experience. He was most recently a Head Lifeguard at Carroll ISD where he coordinated the staff training.

Kirstin has worked in aquatics for many years serving several facilities including Collin County College Aquatic Center and The Colony Aquatic Park. She got her first lifeguarding certification at 16 and has served as a Head lifeguard, Swim Instructor and EMT.
After starting her family, she continues her passion for aquatics as a swim instructor with The Colony and as a lifeguard instructor.

Nick has been a lifeguard and swim instructor for The Colony since he was 16. He has served as a Head Lifeguard and training captain. He currently works as a lifeguard for the City of Plano and co-teaches for XO Professional Lifeguarding.

Kirstin has worked in aquatics for many years serving Collin County College Aquatic Center and The Colony Aquatic Park. She got her first lifeguarding certification at 16 and has served as a Head lifeguard. Morgan has been in aquatics as a lifeguard for 9 years, plus 2 years experience as a Lifeguard Instructor. Currently, she works as a hospital EMT. She previously was Head Lifeguard at Carroll ISD where she helped coordinate scheduling for the facility and staff.
